CRACOW IMPRESSIONS

Hi guys! 

Back in October 2016, me and my boyfriend went on a little trip to the beautiful city of Cracow. It is still my favorite trip we went on together till date and hence, I thought I might share some pictures with you. Even though it was my second time visiting Cracow, it was really the first time I went where I wanted to go, see what I wanted to see - the first time was a class trip back when I went to high school. I loved seeing the old town, visiting the Kazimierz neighbourhood, learning more about history in the museums and eating some amazing food!

And now to the pictures, always with a short commentary ..

Ahojte! 

Ešte v októbri 2016 sme s priateľom boli na trojdňovom výlete v Krakowe. Je to ešte stále môj najobľúbenejší spoločný trip, tak som si povedala, že sa s vami podelím o pár fotiek. Napriek tomu, že to bola už moja druhá návšteva Krakowa, bola prvá poriadna. Mohla som si ísť kam som chcela, vidieť čo som ja chcela vidieť. Na tej prvej som totiž bola zo strednej a tam si človek veľmi nenavyberá. Strašne sa mi páčilo prechádzať sa po starom meste, návšteva časti mesta zvanej Kazimierz, učenie sa viac a viac o histórii v múzeách .. a to úžasné jedlo!

Our drive to Cracow was either rainy, or snowy .. yes, there was snow in the mountains in October! //Počas cesty do Krakowa buď pršalo, alebo snežilo .. áno, v Októbri sme cestovali cez zasnežené hory!

This picture was taken in the Cracow Main Square (Rynek Glowny) - there were countless horse-drawn carriages, completing the historical atmosphere. 

Táto fotka bola zachytená na Hlavnom námestí (Rynek Glowny) - boli tam mnohé koče s koňmi, ktoré krásne dopĺňali historickú atmosféru. 

We took some outfit of the day pictures .. // Odfotili sme pár "outfit of the day" fotiek .. 

But since it was absolutely freezing - at least for me, wearing just a leather jacket - we quickly decided it was time for some warmth, food and a sip of whiskey cola. So we headed to the Amazing Hard Rock Café, located directly in the Main Square

Ale keďže bola šialená zima, minimálne teda mne v tejto koženej bundičke, rozhodli sme sa že nastal ten správny čas teplo, jedlo a trochu whiskey coly. Tak sme utekali do Hard Rock Café, ktoré sa nachádza priamo na Hlavnom námestí. 

The food was absolutely amazing! Since Cracow, I was craving those red hot cauliflower bites so much that I had to learn how to make them! The recipe will follow soon .. 


A najedli sme sa fakt geniálne! Aj po Krakowe som stále túžila po tých výborných red hot karfiolových kúskoch, tak som sa ich naučila pripravovať! Recept čoskoro .. 

After lunch (and visiting Zara located next door, where I bought the scarf from the first pictures, as well as my wool coat later in the evening after really freezing in that damn leather jacket), we decided to visit Kazimierz. On our way there, we bumped into a stand where they sold Czech Trdelník - and of course, I could not say no. After all, we didn't have any dessert in Hard Rock Café .. 

Po obede (a po návšteve Zary, v ktorej som si kúpila šál z prvej fotky, ako aj môj ovčí kabátik neskôr večer, keď už som totálne premrzla), sme sa rozhodli navštíviť Kazimierz. Na ceste tam sme našli stánok s českým trdelníkom, ktorým sa samozrejme nepohŕda! Veď sme v Hard Rocku nemali žiaden dezert .. 

In Kazimierz, we visited the Tempel Synagogue and the Galicia Jewish Museum. On our way back to the apartment we have rented with airbnb.com, we decided to stop for a little snack at Hummus & Happiness

V štvrti Kazimierz sme navštívili Tempel synagógu a Galicia - židovské múzeum. Cestou naspäť do bytu, ktorý sme našli cez airbnb.com, sme sa rozhodli zastaviť sa na snack v Hummus & Happiness
